The Process

Unsure of where to start?  Want to know what to expect from the process?

Here's a general overview.

It all starts with an email.

The best place to start is to send us an email! Include photos of the piece you wish to recover.  Include basic measurements if you have them, plus any other pertinent details of what you are looking for.

We are unable to accept photos via text at this time. Please send your photos to our email instead.

2

Labor Estimate

Once we review your photos, we will send you back a labor estimate based on the size and scope of your project. We may ask for additional details or photos in order to give you a more accurate quote.

*Please note this estimate does not include the cost of fabric or of any necessary repairs that may need to be made to your furniture once we get inside.

3

Fabric Selection

We will have you come to our Sioux Falls showroom to select fabric(s).* The right fabric can make or break a project, so we are here to help you with the process  - it need not be intimidating!

It can be helpful for you to bring, if possible, paint and flooring samples from your home for matching/color coordination.

You will be encouraged to bring samples home to view them within your own light and space before making a decision.  We want you to be confident and happy with your fabric choices before committing to the project.

4

Fabric Purchase

Once chosen, we will have you pay for the fabric upfront and in full. This acts as a deposit on your project overall and secures your spot on our schedule.

5

Practice Patience...

Lead times vary on different types of projects, from weeks to sometimes months. At the time of your fabric purchase, we will give you a good-faith estimate as to when your project will be completed.  We will contact you when you are "on deck."

The limitations of our space do not permit us to accept your furniture immediately – rather you will be contacted when we are ready to begin work on it.

Whenever possible, we try to turn your project around within 1-2 weeks from the time it arrives.

6

Completion

When your project is complete, we will call or email to notify you.

Your balance (labor cost) is due on pickup.

We ask that your furniture be picked up from our shop as soon as possible upon completion to accommodate space for the next projects in line.
